The Reserve at Sawgrass HOA Board of Directors forms various committees to extend its communication reach into the community, leverage the talent and knowledge of the community, and take the opportunity to hear a diversity of opinions within the community.
Three committees have been organized to provide assistance to the Board of Directors in the governance and operation of the community. The HOA committees offer homeowners the opportunity to actively participate in the life of Reserve at Sawgrass and are vital to the wellbeing of the community. Please consider joining the committee that most interests you by completing the Committee Interest Form at the bottom of this page.
Architectural Review
The purpose of the ARC is to promote and ensure a high level of quality, harmony and conformity throughout the neighborhood. The ARC reviews homeowners’ ARC Review Requests by using the rules set forth in the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs) and Architectural Rules found in the Declaration. Any improvements should maintain, or enhance, the value of the home (which, in turn, maintains homeowner values for the community).
The purpose of the Hearing Committee (HC) is to provide any alleged violator an opportunity to be heard by an independent group of community peers to offer an independent review of any fines or restrictions placed on a homeowner (such as loss of amenity access due to unpaid assessments or violation of rules).
The purpose of the Grounds Committee is to communicate community needs to the Board of Directors. Their primary role is common area inspections to look for possible ways to improve and enhance common areas. The second is to review potential landscape improvements, propose changes or maintenance issues and make recommendations to the Board.
The purpose of the Social committee is to advise and assist the Board in creating and providing social and recreational events which are geared to the interests and needs of the community. Also, the committee helps to keep homeowners informed about their Association via the website or newsletter if required.
Interested in joining a committee? How do I know if I am qualified to participate on a committee?
Committee members must currently be and remain in good financial standing with the Association (must be current on your quarterly assessments). Also, please have a realistic expectation about your available time to contribute. While subject knowledge is important, frequently you will need to spend time performing research, calling on others and following up emails to get the answers you need. It takes time to be a good committee member.
If you are interested in joining, please complete the form below. You will be contacted if a position exists and the Board votes to add you to a committee.
